Help Make Our School the Best It Can
Be!
As we all know, school funding is a major
crisis in Illinois. Despite the budget cuts, we still need to make our
school the very best it can be for our students. There are many ways that
parents, alumni, and community members can help...
Many of our teachers and classrooms can use
everyday supplies. Please check out their wish lists by clicking on the
star. Perhaps you can help!

Our Market Day monthly food program is a
unique fundraiser because children do not have to sell door-to-door.
It's easy because you just fill out the order sheet each month, send it as
directed, and pick up your food at school on the sale day. You can
also order all Market Day products online at
http://www.marketday.com (Please
be sure to put in the school code 21848 so that our school receives credit
for the order). The
site has photos, product descriptions, ingredients, recipes, and more!

If you have a
Target REDcard or sign up for one, Bateman can receive 5% cash
back for every purchase you make! The money is then given to the
school twice a year. Don't forget: Our School ID
Number is 45527. You can changed or add a school at anytime, not just
when you sign up for the card! |

Many of our
teachers are in need of items for their classroom. Visit
DonorsChoose and search for Bateman. You will then see a list of
proposals that some of our teachers have put together. You can
make a donation which would be greatly appreciated by everyone! |
Clip and save BoxTops for Education and
Campbell's Soup Labels. You can drop them off in the collection container
near the fish tank in the foyer.

What do you do when your
printer runs out of ink? Please don't just throw your ink
cartridges away! Bring them to the school and drop them inside
one of the collection bins located near the main entrance door
or by the teacher's lounge. The school gets money for each ink
cartridge that can be recycled. And you can feel good because
you are safely disposing of your ink cartridges as well! |
