We would like to say a special thank you to the following people and places for helping our school in a variety of ways.

A Special Thanks...

A while back we were contacted by Dr. Barry M. Wright who was the son of a former teacher of Bateman. Sadly Mrs. Dorothy J. Wright passed away. During her time teaching 3rd, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, she enjoyed sharing the pleasures of reading with her students. Her son, Dr. Wright, graciously donated $2,500 to Bateman in her memory to be used towards new additions to our library. Thank you to Mr. Wright and our most sincere thoughts to his mother for being a teacher at Bateman for so long.

 

 

 

A special thanks to Mrs. Jessie Thomas - For creating our new Blaze logo and our wonderful school brochure!

 

  Chicago Cares is a wonderful volunteer organization. Thank you for the beautiful mosaics that you graciously donated to our school, as well as for the wonderful opportunities you gave to our 1st grade students! We also appreciate all of the hard work you did during your 15th annual Serve-A-Thon!
